Our Mission

We are sick and tired of false promises and mis-information. Instead of helping women to feel stronger, leaner and sexier, the fitness industry preys on women’s insecurities and we are changing that.

We had tried all of the diets in the book; no carbs, no sugar, no dairy, high fat/low carb, low fat, maximum 1,000 calories with a workout every day, no carbs after 6pm (what were we thinking carbs cannot tell the time!)

…. and guess what ….

… none of the diets worked. After years of misery – honestly there were many tears before going to special events, for weeks beforehand we would dread the event (any celebration: wedding, birthday, family meal). It would make us feel physically sick knowing we would have to squeeze into something uncomfortable, a dress that didn’t fit, tops which were too tight. And then there was the holiday dread too. For the days leading up to a holiday we would starve ourselves, hoping for a quick weight loss miracle and then feeling utterly awkward whilst in a swimsuit.

What we’re trying to say is we’ve been there. We know what it feels like to feel uncomfortable in your own skin and not know how to break the cycle. The best thing, we can help, we want to help. We know that we can Transform your life and take away the endless cycle of binge eating, calorie counting, trying to join the gym but not really knowing what to do. All you need to do is raise your hand and say “I’m in” and we’ll be by your side every step of the way.

LUCY’S STORY

After years of trial of error; under-eating, over-eating, working out too much and letting my whole world become focussed around food and fitness I realised something had to change.

How on earth was I going to achieve that?

I was a working full-time as lawyer. Long days in the office with an hour commute each way (more when there was a problem with the trains) meant I was constantly exhausted. I’d get in from work, eat half a packet of biscuits whilst I looked longingly into the fridge absolutely disheartened about “healthy eating”. I really didn’t want to go to the gym. I wanted to put on my pyjamas, sit on my sofa, drink wine and eat cheese.

At the same time, I didn’t want this life at all.

I wanted to feel good in my own skin. I wanted to be able to go on a night out and not have to decide my outfit based on which clothes didn’t force me to breathe in all night.

HOW EVERYTHING CHANGED

It feels weird to look back on that time now. Fast forward five years and I’m still a lawyer. I still work insanely long hours sitting in an office all day. Yet now I love my body. I cherish it and I’m proud of what it can achieve and how it looks. I also spend my spare time helping women to transform their bodies too. I qualified as a personal trainer (weekend study) and now teach one night a week at an awesome boutique studio in London. I also teach live sessions weekly in The Fit Hub membership site. I help women not to make the mistakes I made and show them the short cuts to success.

OUR BELIEFS

  

We believe that every woman should feel fantastic in her own skin. We are know that unfortunately that is not the case and we are passionate about changing that. Brought together by a love of healthy living and a passion to help other women feel fantastic we’ve created a programme which works for real women. Women with families, women with careers and women who want to eat food! We are throwing out the traditional boring model of weight loss which usually means food deprivation, food restriction and over-exercising and we’ve brought in a method which works for real women, whatever their circumstances. We specialise in creating long-lasting transformations for women whatever their age and whatever stage they are at on their fitness journey.
